Staffworks 2.0- Fireworks Admin Setup

Staffworks 2.0- Fireworks Admin Setup

Objective 1. Understanding the Staffworks User Management page in Fireworks Backoffice.

Once Staffworks is added to your Fireworks Database, the Department will have the ability to access to the “Users Management SW2” page.

The Staffworks User Management page allows the department to set which users are assigned to Staffworks, give permissions, update permissions, and make users active or non-active in the Staffworks module.

The Staffworks User Management page gives you the following options.

  1. Staffworks ID- This is the user's Staffworks ID number showing them as a user in Staffworks. This must be filled out for the user in Staffworks.
  2. Personnel ID- This is the user's Fireworks ID number in the system.
  3. Name- User's first and last name in the system
  4. Email- User's email address for logging into Fireworks.
  5. Phone- User's phone number used for the SMS messages/scheduling alerts from Staffworks 2.0
  6. FW Permission Profile- This will be a dropdown for the permission level the user has in Fireworks.
  7. SW Profile- This will be a dropdown for the permission level the user has in Staffworks 2.0
  8. Deactivated User- This checkbox will allow the department to track if the user is an active user or not in the system.

At anytime you can click on the pencil and go into that user’s permission profile. When you make any changes to an individual user or selected users you can click the “Update SW” button to save those changes.

A new option has been added that allows the department to add users to Staffworks but not grant them login access.
This option would be for departments in new implementation or a department needing to have users in Staffworks but not give the user access to login to Staffworks from Fireworks.
