Updating the Permit List

Objectives:

1. Update the Permit list for Inspections/Pre-plans modules. 

To update the permit list, we will need to access the admin back office. Once we have made it to that side, we need to understand which module we would like to add the permits too.

·      Inspections- Ability to setup Inspection Permit Types

·      Pre-plans- Ability to setup permits for the pre-plan section


Inspections:


To setup a permit list for inspections we will go to.

·      Inspections

o   Permit Inspection Classifications

§  Permit Inspection Types





On the permit inspection types page you will be able to enter the following information.

·      Description- The name of the permit

·      Violation List- The violation list or checklist you want to check for that permit

·      Priority- Ability to choose if the permit is a standard or critical priority

·      Reoccurring- Ability to choose if it is a reoccurring permit.

·      Inspection Cycle- How often you would complete this inspection

 

Once you enter this data into the Permit types page click the exit button.





Pre-plans:

To enter permit types into pre plan you will need to go to.

·      Properties

o   Settings

§  Property Permit Types





On the property permit type page we will be able to enter the following information.

·      Description- The name of the permit type.

·      Bill Type- If using the Billing module, you can set the permit to a certain bill type for billing a occupant.

·      Letter- Ability to assign a letter to the permit when printing out a permit letter for the occupant.

Once you have entered the information, click the exit button.
