Setting up Cardiac Monitors

Objectives:
1. To add a Cardiac Monitor into the Fireworks system.

This guide will be used to show the installation of Cardiac Monitors in the Fireworks System.

To setup the monitors, we will need some data off the device we want to enter into the system.
• Serial Number
• Name of the Device ID (this you will choose when you enter the monitor)
• Apparatus device is going on

Once we have the necessary data we will start by logging in the system and accessing the admin side of the system.
Once on the admin side of the system you will need to access the following:
  1. ePCR Module
  2. Settings
  3. Medical Devices Interface

Once you access the Medical Devices Interface page you will see columns to enter the data gathered for each cardiac monitor.
On this page you can enter the following information.
• Device Type- This will be the brand of device you are entering-
  1.        Stryker-Physio
  2.        Zoll
  3.        Phillips
  4.        Stryker New API
• Device Serial #- The serial number for the device
• Device ID- The Device ID (this is customizable for the department)
• Device Model- Model of the device
• App ID- Apparatus the device is on.

Once you have entered all the information on this page, click the exit button.

Lastly, we need to enter the information in the ePCR Agency Configuration section under the Device section.
Enter all the information again from the device page to the configuration page and click exit. Entering this information in the Agency Configuration allows the cardiac monitor data to report for NEMSIS reporting.
