How to Create New Fire Alarm Report

On the main incident page, click the “alarm bell” to create a new fire alarm report for the incident.

You will be prompted to confirm that you wish to create a new fire alarm report.

How to Complete a Fire Alarm Report

The initial top section will be automatically filled out with the incident number, CAD number, incident
type, the date, the address, and the business name if applicable.

Basic information of the call can now be entered into the fire alarm report.

Any attachments or paper forms can be added to the report if needed.

Signatures of one site staff members can be documented as well to ensure proper documentation is
met.

The report can be emailed as well to a shift supervisor or fire marshal’s office if required.

Once the report is completed, the user can submit the report or submit the report and enter the NFIRS
report.

Creating a default mailing list for all fire alarm reports

As mentioned in objective 2, the user could send the fire alarm report to a group via the mailing list.
This can be created by going to the admin section, management, and the general settings section under
the mailing list.

Double click on the “mailing list box” to bring up the menu.

You can create a new mailing list in the “blank description box,” or use an existing group. Find the column of “fire
alarm default” and check the box to make it the default for the group.
